MIDWEST MALAISE AND GLIMMERS OF HOPE
- Illinois Medical Cannabis Legislation SB1381 House Sponsor Rep. Lou Lang, Tells Me That He Will Likely Call A Floor Vote On Tuesday, Nov. 30th 2010. We need as much support as possible during the lead-up to this vote. Illinois Norml urges supporters of the legislation to call your State Representative everyday leading up to the vote, and politely tell them “Vote Yes on SB1381”. By calling 217-782-2000 you’ll be connected to the Capitol switchboard and the operator will be able to direct your call to your State Representatives office in Springfield. Additionally, Illinois Norml states that the Illinois General Assembly website offers live streaming of floor debates and votes for legislation in House of Representatives, and that would be the best way to stay up to date on when this bill will be called for a vote. Rep. Lang has promised Cannabis Agenda an interview on the day of vote, regardless of its outcome.
